Full itinerary

Key: B = Breakfast, L = lunch, D = Dinner

Day 1: Brisbane - Byron Bay

Meet your guide & new travel mates at Brisbane CBD (Hotel - Royal On The
Park), or at Brisbane Airport between 10.30am & 11.30am (Please
check with us what time to meet when booking your tour, as each tour varies by
a few hours depending on our scheduled flight time). We're headed to Australia
East Coast must-see Byron Bay, a laid-back surf paradise with boundless
coastline, sand and friendly locals. We'll pop in to an organic farm where
we'll pick and prepare a healthy lunch before paying a visit to the local
lighthouse for a unique photo opportunity and the chance for the eagle-eyed to
spot dolphins, whales, and other marine life. After checking into the hotel,
enjoy a welcome dinner. (L, D). Accommodation: Byron Bay hotel & Apartments

Day 2. Byron Bay

Today we're talking relaxation, relaxation, and relaxation. This day is all yours. Spend
the morning on the warm sand, shopping for bargains, or indulge in one of our
optional activities: yoga, surfing, kayaking or get a relaxing massage. In the
afternoon, put your feet up, head to a cosy bar, or watch the world go by from
one of the local cafes. Accommodation: Byron Bay hotel & Apartments

Optional: Yoga session, surf lesson, kayak
experience or massage.

Day 3. Byron - Dorrigo National Park

Today we head inland to get a different view of Australia & you'll be rewarded with a
stop at gorgeous Dorrigo National Park, known for its lush, sub-tropical
rainforest and waterfalls. A must see on the East Coast of Australia! We
finish the day in true Aussie style: a traditional pub where you can relax,
order some food, have a few drinks and even play some pool. (B) Accommodation: Dorrigo Heritage
Motel (Traditional Australian Pub) or Bellingen Valley Lodge

Day 4. Dorrigo - Port Macquarie

This morning it's off to Dangar Falls for a optional refreshing dip in its cascading waters
before following the coast to the beautiful city of Port Macquarie where we
will visit a local koala hospital. If you're able to tear yourself away from
the cuddly critters, you'll be rewarded with a sunset cruise including
complimentary drinks and snacks – keep an eye out by the dolphins that
frequently swim past. (B) Accommodation: Port Macquarie: El Paso Motor Inn

Day 5. Port Macquarie - Newcastle via Forster

It's all about water today. After breakfast, we hit the scenic Lakes Way for a coastal
walk and lookout climb. Sunbathe on the sand or, if you're feeling more
adventurous, dive into a stand-up paddle or kayak experience. Afterwards, we're
off to follow our East Coast of Australia itinerary to the sunny port city
of Newcastle. (B) Accommodation: Newcastle: The Lucky Hotel

Day 6. Newcastle - Sydney via Hunter Valley

Today we're in the heart of the Hunter Valley, so there's nothing better than to take
a wine, cheese, chocolate and organic vodka tasting tour, complete with gourmet
lunch. We continue onto Australia's Harbour City, the glittering jewel in
the east coast's crown: Sydney. After checking into our hotel to freshen up, we
walk to a local restaurant for a multicultural farewell dinner (B, L, D).
Accommodation: Macleay Hotel

Day 7. Sydney

We begin with a walking tour of Australia's most famous city. Watch how the sun glints on the
Harbour Bridge, the Opera House, and even the historic ferry we take to Watson’s
Bay. Over fish ’n chips, we'll plot our next course: a walk along the east
coast's towering cliffs – aboriginal rock carvings, ocean spray and stunning
views. Keep your eyes peeled for dolphins and even the occasional whale. After Bondi, we travel back into Sydney where it’s time to say farewell to your travel mates: You can be dropped either at Sydney (Macleay
Hotel), or at Sydney Airport between 4.30pm & 5.30pm. (B, L). No accommodation included on day 7.
